An employee of our subcontractor will be performing installation work at a customer site. Do we have to perform checks concerning contractor’s obligations even if the employee does not work in our premises?

The Act on the Contractor’s Obligations and Liability when Work is Contracted Out applies when the work takes place at the contractor’s premises or worksite. A customer site is the contractor’s worksite, even though it is not a space managed by the contractor. Therefore, the checks concerning contractor’s obligations must be performed.
