An advisory Occupational Safety and Health Board operates in association with the Occupational Safety and Health Division. The Board consists of representatives from the labour market organisations och field experts.

Within the operation area of each OSH Division the OSH Board handles

• significant OSH projects of development, planning and follow up;
• general OSH guidelines and performance targets for allocation of resources in order to promote the occupational safety and health as well as
• other subjects which are important for the regional development of the work environment.

The Occupational Safety and Health Boards:

• The OSH Board at the OSH Division of the Regional State Administrative Agency of Southern Finland 
• The OSH Board at the OSH Division of the Regional State Administrative Agency of Southwestern Finland
• The OSH Board at the OSH Division of the Regional State Administrative Agency of Eastern Finland
• The OSH Board at the OSH Division of the Regional State Administrative Agency of Western and Inner Finland
• The OSH Board at the OSH Division of the Regional State Administrative Agency of Northern Finland.
