An operator in the natural produce picking sector must notify the occupational safety and health authority in advance of the location of the pickers' bases. The obligation applies to an operator, who personally or on whose behalf someone else organises accommodation, collection equipment and gear, or vehicles for a picker, with the primary intent of acquiring natural products from the picker. If the base changes during the picking period, an advance notification must be also submitted on the new base.

Submitting a notification

A notification is submitted to the occupational safety and health authority via an electronic form. The occupational safety and health authority will send a notice of receipt for the advance notification to the email address provided by the operator within one week of receiving the notification.
