Registration information for the events of Occupational Safety and Health Administration

2. General description of the register
The occupational safety and health authorities, i.e. the occupational safety and health divisions of the Regional State Administrative Agencies, organise events in connection to which they collect registration information from participants. This register applies to registration information for events in which the national communication unit for occupational safety and health is involved. The information in the register is used, for example, for organising events and informing about new events.

6. Purpose of processing personal data
The purpose of the occupational safety and health authorities' events is to provide up-to-date information on legislation, interpretation of legislation and supervision. Personal data is used to communicate about events, collect feedback, plan and target events, inform about new events and evaluate the impact of events.

7. Register data content
Name, organization, title and email address. Of these, only the email address is required.

8. Regular data sources for personal data
The information comes from the data subjects when registering for the event or at the data subject's own request.

9. Basis for processing personal data
The processing of personal data is based on the fact that the data subject has given consent to the processing of personal data for the purposes described in this notification. This is a criterion under Article 6 (1) (a) of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU 2016/679).

10. Regular disclosure of data
Personal data shall not be regularly disclosed to third parties. The list of participants for an individual event may be distributed to the partners who participate in the organisation of the event, if this is necessary for the organisation of the event.

11. Transfer of data outside the EU or EEA
Personal data are not transferred outside the EU or EEA.

12. Data retention period
The data are kept in the register as long as they are needed for the purpose for which they were collected, unless the data subject requests the deletion of their data (contact details of the controller in section 3).

13. The data subject's rights in relation to the processing of personal data
The data subject has the right to be informed of the purposes for which and how personal data are processed. The data subject has the right to request access to their own personal data and the right to request rectification, addition or removal of such data. The data subject has the right to request the controller to restrict the processing of their data or to object to the processing of personal data. The data subject may also contact the controller to withdraw consent. In the above-mentioned matters, you can contact the controller (contact details in section 3).

14. Automatic individual decisions and profiling
The register does not use automated individual decisions or profiling.

15. Penalties for non-disclosure
Participation in events organised by Divisions of Occupational Safety and Health may become more difficult.

16. Right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority
The data subject has the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority – the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman – if the data subject considers the processing of his or her personal data to constitute an infringement the EU General Data Protection Regulation.
