A secondary school pupil can conclude an employment contract when he or she has reached the age of 15. An employment contract can be concluded on behalf of a person younger than this by a guardian or by the young person themself with the consent of their guardian. Persons who will turn 13 during the current calendar year, and persons younger than this also need an exemption from the occupational safety and health authority.
