My employee does not want to use the assistive devices for lifting and transfers that have been acquired to the workplace. What can I do as a supervisor?

If the work involves a health risk that can be prevented by using equipment that makes work easier, the employee cannot refuse to use it without a justified reason. The employer may take disciplinary action in accordance with workplace practices if the employee does not comply with the employer’s instructions.
