We have made a contract on construction work. The contracting partner company has been operating for 20 years, and we have no reason to suspect that there has been a breach of their legal obligations. We have worked with the same contracting partner before. Do we still have to perform checks concerning contractor’s obligations?

In agreements relating to construction activities, the contractor is not exempted from the obligation to check on the basis of well-established operation of the contracting party or an established contractual relationship between the contracting parties. The reports required by law must be obtained by the contractor before agreements are signed.
