Telephone service

The telephone service of the Finnish occupational safety and health authority offers service in English:
- Advice on employment relationships on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 9:00 am – 12:00 noon.
- For advice on working environments, advice on the construction sector and advice on well-being at work you can call the telephone service and leave a call-back request.
We also offer service in Finnish and Swedish, see links for details. In other languages you can also call us with the help of your own interpreter.
Exceptional opening hours
- On Friday 8 May 2026 telephone service in English is not available. We offer service in Finnish from 12:00 noon to 3:00 pm.
If you call from a landline phone in Finland, the rate is the standard local network rate. If you call from a mobile phone in Finland, the rate is the standard mobile rate. The actual cost depends on your subscription with the operator. If you call to a Finnish number from outside Finland, please dial the international code +358 and leave out the first zero of the phone number.
