How is the notice period calculated?
Termination of employment relationship
The employment relationship ends on the last day of the notice period. If the period of notice is presented as days (e.g. 14 days), the date on which the notice of termination is submitted is not included in the notice period.
If the period of notice is stated in months, the employment relationship ends on the same numerical day as the notice of termination was given. If there is no corresponding date in the month in which the notice period ends, the last day of the month shall be considered as the end of the period. For example, if the termination takes place on 31 December and the period of notice is two months, the employment relationship ends on 28 February.
