I have not received a certificate of employment. What can I do?

Your employer is not required to issue you a certificate of employment at his own initiative. If you have not requested a certificate of employment from your employer, you must do so. You may make the request verbally or in writing, e.g. by e-mail.

If you have already requested a certificate of employment but have not received it, contact the occupational safety and health division of the region where your workplace is located. You can request enforcement with the form Enforcement request – employment relationship matters (pdf).
